Anthony Quijano has earned a degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. He has specialized in pediatric since 1999, working in a variety of settings that include a children’s hospital, an early intervention classroom, an enhanced parent-child group, and an elementary school.
Anthony specializes in working with children with fine motor delay, motor coordination difficulty, sensory integration dysfunction, low muscle tone, poor handwriting, children with autism, ADD/ADHD, and PDD. His occupational therapy experience also includes working with children with hemipeligia, brachial plexus injuries, preparing preschoolers for kindergarten readiness, remediation of handwriting difficulty, and establishing home occupational therapy programs.
Anthony practice focuses on treating all areas of the child’s functioning. This “holistic” ideology is why he favors a theoretically eclectic approach to pediatric occupational therapy practice.
