Ellen obtained an MS in Speech and Language Pathology from Columbia University Teachers College and a BA from the University Center at Binghamton.  She has worked with both children and adults at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and at the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains.  Ellen has been a successful early intervention, preschool and school age pediatric private practitioner in southern Westchester, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of speech and language delays and disorders.  Her focus includes but is not limited to treating children with autism and PDD, oral verbal apraxia, cognitive developmental delays and social pragmatic language disorders via groups and 1:1 therapy.  Ellen is PROMPT trained.
